A new LP experience at Accelerating Asia

Over the last year, we have rebuilt how our LPs, our founders, and the wider ecosystem interact with Accelerating Asia. A real-time LP dashboard. A fully interactive portfolio page. A live, data-driven fund deck. All sitting on a single rigorous data infrastructure underneath.

The headline change is simple: transparency.

Our LPs should not have to wait for a quarterly PDF to understand what is happening in their portfolio. Our founders should not have to spend 45 minutes every quarter filling out the same form from scratch. Prospective investors should not have to rely on decks that were printed six months ago. We think a fund at our stage should be more transparent than larger players, not less. The tooling is finally there to do it.

Here's what we have built.

The LP Dashboard

Our LPs now have a real-time view of the portfolio they are invested in.

The dashboard lives at its own secure URL. Access is via a magic link sent to each LP's registered email. No passwords, no account setup, no "forgot your login." One click and you are in.

Each LP sees a view tailored to their fund. Fund I LPs get full Fund I detail, with Fund II shown as a summary. Fund II LPs see the reverse. All data is current as of the most recent reconciliation.

The dashboard has eight interactive sections.

  • Fund Summary. Fund I and Fund II side by side, including TVPI with and without program fees, total deployed capital, portfolio value, active and inactive company counts, and write-off rates.

  • Portfolio Insights. Breakdowns by geography, sector, MOIC distribution, and gender diversity. Filterable by fund.

  • Portfolio Detail. A searchable, sortable table of every company with the key metrics visible at a glance. Any company, found in seconds.

  • Accelerator Value. A quantification of the additional MOIC generated through our accelerator's program fees. The clearest answer we have been able to give to the question, "why does the accelerator model matter?"

  • Power Law Distribution. A visualisation of how a small number of outlier companies drive the majority of returns. Top companies ranked by MOIC alongside the portfolio valuation curve over time.

  • Exit Scenario Calculator. LPs can select any active company, set a target exit valuation, and see the resulting projected fund return.

  • LP Investment Calculator. LPs can input their own investment amount and a target MOIC to project returns, using Fund I as a historical reference point.

  • Exit Pipeline. The companies approaching meaningful exits, with context on revenue, valuation, and potential fund impact.

LP feedback has been that this level of visibility is not something they have typically seen from funds at our stage or size. That is exactly the point.

The Portfolio Page

The dashboard is for our LPs. The portfolio page is for everyone.

We rebuilt it from scratch. It lives at acceleratingasia.com/portfolio. It is a fully filterable table of all active portfolio companies, with search by name and filters for country, sector, cohort, fund, fundraising status, female founder, gender lens investment, and impact theme.

Click on any company and you see a description, the CEO's name, the sector, the country, a direct website link, and a "Request Introduction" button. Intro requests are routed directly to the CEO, with our team copied in, and logged so we can track engagement and facilitate the right connections over time.

A "Fundraising" badge automatically surfaces any company currently raising. 44 of our companies are actively raising right now. A single filter narrows the list to just those in one click.

The goal of this page is simple. We want our portfolio to be genuinely discoverable. Investors, corporates, and ecosystem partners should be able to find and connect with our companies without needing us as the middle layer.

The Interactive Fund Deck

For prospective LPs and strategic partners, our fund deck is no longer a static PDF.

It now lives at a gated URL. Visitors enter their name, email, and company to access the deck. Every view and every PDF download is logged, with a notification to our team. We know who is engaging with our fund story, from where, and when.

The deck itself is a hybrid. Designed slides for the visual content (the cover, the powerband diagram, team bios). Live HTML for data-driven content (exit pipeline, fund performance summaries, portfolio case studies). When the portfolio data updates, the data-driven slides regenerate automatically.

A "Download PDF" button produces an instantly formatted landscape A4 document pulled straight from the live version. No print dialog, no formatting to adjust.

The result is a fund deck that is always current.

The foundation underneath

All three of these tools sit on a single data infrastructure. Three core datasets: a Portfolio Master Snapshot (the current state of every company), a Portfolio Time Series going back to Q1 2020, and the LP Dashboard Calculations (the fund-level metrics).

Every data point has an audit trail documenting when it was updated, why, and from what source. Every change is verified across all downstream systems before it goes live. When we need to answer the question, "why did this metric move between quarters?", we can trace it back to the exact company, the exact valuation update, and the exact reason.

This is not the glamorous part of the work. It is the most important part.

What it means

For our LPs, real-time visibility into their portfolio instead of waiting for a quarterly PDF.

For our founders, metrics reporting that takes 30 seconds a quarter, and an investor group that sees warning signals early enough to actually help, not once it is too late.

For the wider ecosystem, portfolio companies made genuinely discoverable, with introductions flowing directly without us as a bottleneck.

For prospective LPs and partners, a fund story told in live data, not in static slides.

See the portfolio. Check out acceleratingasia.com/portfolio. Filter by country, sector, or fundraising status. Request an introduction directly to any CEO.

For investors and partners. Choose your path at acceleratingasia.com/investors. Whether you're looking to co-invest in individual startups or invest in the fund, the next step is there.
