An organic LTV to CAC of 140 to 1, and not one paying merchant has churned
The surest sign a product is wanted is when people show up without being sold to. That is exactly what meed has: more than 700 businesses across 85 countries have signed up with no paid acquisition at all, an organic LTV-to-CAC ratio of roughly 140 to 1, and not a single paying merchant has churned.
What are they all coming for? The end of the loyalty app. More than half of loyalty memberships sit dormant, because every brand insists on its own app. meed strips that away: one wallet-native card that goes live in Apple and Google Wallet in minutes, works across every merchant, no app, one login. The first consumer-first unified loyalty layer.
Organic pull this wide, this early, is almost impossible to manufacture, and impossible to fake. Founder Phil Ingram has spent 28 years building product across Web2 and Web3, and has funded the company to this point himself. The strongest paying signal sits in nail and tanning salons in the UK, where the merchants who join keep paying, and refer the ones who join next.
"The aha moment was personal. I was at a checkout, digging through my phone for the right loyalty app for the right shop, and I thought, this is broken. Not for the business, for me. So I went home and started building the thing I actually wanted to use." Phil Ingram, founder and CEO
To put that 140-to-1 in perspective, a healthy startup is happy with 3-to-1. meed runs at roughly 140-to-1, because it pays nothing to acquire those merchants in the first place.
