About Accelerating Asia

Accelerating Asia is a Singapore based venture capital fund and award-winning startup accelerator. At Accelerating Asia we are driven by helping people succeed. About The Role

This role will directly report to the Operations Manager and the Partnerships Director and will give you an opportunity to work across all of our entities including our fund, Accelerating Asia Ventures. Your mission will be to support the business development and the capital raising process. Your primary responsibilities will be the creation and updating of collaterals, information systems, reports and the diligence / subscription process. We’ll depend on you to take meeting minutes, support the team with managing new business relationships, manage our database of contacts, and more. You will work closely with our leadership team to make sure fund operations and business development processes are compliant, efficient, and organised. Help us keep the wheels turning!

Administrative tasks are a cornerstone of this role.
Producing and updating collaterals including decks, pitchbooks, investor and client updates and reports.
Supporting the team in managing the relationships with our fund investors and new clients, including through organising events, scheduling meetings, managing and updating our information systems
Supporting the team with various projects related to lead generation, sales pipeline organising roadshows/investor events
Track and monitor the client and investor lifecycle and ensure that all queries are addressed in a timely manner
Assist with building pitchbooks and marketing material
Work with potential investors through their diligence, subscription and onboarding process
Work with new clients through their proposal, contract and onboarding process

Requirements

What We Look For

We’re looking for someone who is a fast learner, can take initiative, and work autonomously. A great candidate wants to learn about and from startups and is eager to be immersed in one of the world’s fastest-growing startup ecosystems.

We also look for:

A strong educational background. You’ve either earned or are close to earning a University degree.
A proven interest in entrepreneurship and startups (such as via the books you’ve read, events you’ve led or attended, or the subjects you’ve studied or are studying at school, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English). We have a direct way of communicating in the office. The ability to ask for help when you need it and to advocate for yourself and your work is essential.
Ability to effectively operate under stress and manage multiple projects on the go. We operate at a fast pace and the status quo changes quickly. We’re looking for a candidate who can thrive in our environment.
Attention to detail (!!) and organisational skills
A positive, can-do attitude. We love to work with friendly, energetic people.
