We’re hiring a full-time Operations Lead to help us oversee, own, and execute initiatives to drive growth and improve our business practices. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee implementation of growth initiatives and implementing better business practices
  • Train, recruit, supervise staff
  • Controlling company's costs
  • Assessing and implementing improved processes and new technologies, and collaborating with management regarding the implementation of these improvements
  • Delegating responsibilities to ensure staff members grow as capable participants
  • Ensuring platform operations are optimised for user satisfaction and retention
  • Participate in expansion activities
  • Assist CEO in managing relationships with partners
  • Assist CEO in fundraising ventures

As a small and quickly evolving team, we believe in rapid experimentation to quickly test our hypotheses before measuring our results and using a balance of quantitative and qualitative data to guide our direction.

About you

We are looking for a candidate who is ready to do work that matters. On day one, no one will be productive, nor do we expect you to. Instead, we’re seeking someone who embraces learning about our challenges, has demonstrated their ability to wear multiple hats, and can work with our remote team efficiently.

Frankly, we’re trying to find someone for whom these problems look pretty familiar. We don’t want a specialist, but instead someone who is just as comfortable managing relationships with partners as they are designing and executing strategies. Critically, we also want someone who is curious, writes and communicates well, anticipates user needs from a human level, and always looks to keep things simple and iterate. We’re looking for someone who can self manage, plan their time wisely, have an urge to grow, and delivers straightforward solutions to vague problems.

We try hard to be a team full of empathy, inclusion, and respect. We trust each other, have hard conversations with open mindedness, and assume positive intent. We document as much as possible, work as asynchronously as possible, and meet via video conference when necessary. Proposing ideas and trying new things are paramount; always being right is not. We’re excited for you to be part of our movement and look forward to helping you grow your own skills as well.

Given that we’re a remote team and solving healthcare problems through the world wide web, it’s critical that our team represent the diverse environments in which we operate. We strive for an inclusive, diverse team with different perspectives, ideas, and identities.

Required qualifications

  • Experience: 1 - 3 years experience in an Operations role or have a background in Product or Growth
  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related area is naturally what we look for but to us, what really matters is how you got here, why you want to be here, and what you can do.
  • Availability: You’re free to design your own schedule but we usually expect a 40 hour work week, a 4 - 6 hours daily overlap with the SGT timezone and to be able to collaborate with the team as needed. That said, we understand that staying up all night does not lead to great work.
  • Balance: We work hard, but we also make sure you feel supported and put you and your family’s health first.

Remote position

This is a remote position. Our team spans the Singapore (GMT+8), Philippines (GMT+8), Indonesia (GMT+7), and Australian (GMT+10) time zones, and overlapping with our teams makes things much easier.

You also must have reliable, consistent access to a network for online collaboration while maintaining a quiet and productive work area without distractions.

How to apply?

Please take the time to describe yourself and why you’ll be a great fit for this role. We encourage people of under-represented backgrounds to apply even if you took an unconventional path.
