We're on the hunt for a Marketing Assistant to join us at Accelerating Asia! As a Marketing Assistant, you'll be part of our team, helping with various marketing tasks like copywriting our social media content and spreading the word about events.
This is a full-time, remote-based role.
WHO YOU ARE
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Assistant to join our growing team. The Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing efforts and contributing to the success of our brand. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about marketing, has a creative mindset, and is eager to learn and grow within the field.
We’re looking for someone who is a fast learner, can take initiative, and work autonomously. A great candidate wants to learn about and from partners and startups and is eager to be immersed in one of the world’s fastest-growing startup ecosystems.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Graphic Design: Editing minor graphic revisions using our templated layouts.
- Content Creation: Assisting in minor copywriting and editing for various marketing channels such as social media, blogs/videos, newsletters, and events.
- Website Management: Uploading and editing website content on Webflow and managing contacts and lists on Active Campaign.
- Social Media Management: Scheduling posts on different social media platforms to maintain a consistent online presence.
- Event Promotion: Creating attractive event pages and promoting them on various platforms.
- SEO Support: Assisting in SEO research and monitoring keyword tracking for better search engine visibility.
- Administrative support: Assist the Marketing team with various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations and keep projects updated.
- Previous working experience working with VCs and startup investors or in a startup is a bonus
- Knowledge of data tools, SEO and how it applies to content marketing is ideal
- Proficient in research and the ability to solve problems independently
- Experience working with Canva, Webflow CMS, Active Campaign is a plus
- A creative and strategic thinker with experience leading memorable marketing campaigns and events from strategy to implementation
- Must have an ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- Must have keen attention to detail (Include your favourite startup meme in your application if you see this)
- Strong strategic and creative skills, organization and communication skills are crucial
- A player with a collaborative approach to the business and ability to work across functions.
- Fluency in written and spoken English
