CLOSED Program & Community Associate (Part-time)
Job description

About the role

The Program & Community Associate supports the Accelerating Asia team by fostering its community of limited partners, mentors, investors, and startups. You will work closely together with different members of the Accelerating Asia team including our Lead Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) and Operations Manager on tasks that will strengthen our community and programs like Accelerating Asia’s flagship accelerator, Amplify and Angel360. This is a part-time role with room to grow into a full-time gig.

What you get

If you want to immerse yourself in the world of startups, this is a great place to be. You get to interact with change agents from across the region. You will be introduced to new ways of working and thinking and have the opportunity to expand your skill set. And all while getting paid for it and working within a flexible, casual work environment. Yay!

Tasks include:

  • Answering incoming inquiries for Accelerating Asia from startups and more
  • Brainstorming and executing on stakeholder appreciation initiatives
  • Engaging with our Angel360, Amplify, and flagship alumni community via email and Slack
  • Managing the Angel360 and Amplify community via our online course platform
  • Supporting our Lead EIR and Operations Manager with operational and cohort community building tasks related to the flagship accelerator program
  • Use your understanding of the stakeholders and their hurdles to develop weekly program emails, posts and tips to smooth out their experiences. Progressively save time on customer success tasks via EDM’s, FAQ’s and Wiki’s
  • Monitoring and presenting engagement metrics for our programs

What you bring to the table:

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • You’re an outcome driven problem solver. You're relentless in securing the resources and information you require (sometimes incomplete) and then achieving complete outcomes like a secret agent on a mission
  • Written and verbal communication skills (by the way, one of our values is being upfront and honest)
  • Interested in becoming a community champion: ensure a high quality, streamlined experience for our stakeholders
  • Applies creativeness and curiosity to enhance community experience
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment (we move FAST)

How you will know how awesome you are:

  • Program onboarding and support net-promoter-scores (NPS) and feedback
  • Successfully building awesome community resources and automations. And proclaiming “it’s alive”
  • You automate processes like you’re equal parts inventor and creative. Metigy, Zapier, Typeform, Trello and ActiveCampaign are your friends. Work smart rather than hard

What We Offer

We offer a flexible and casual work environment. Be prepared to join evening events as well as work on the weekends under special circumstances. Expect to learn new things as you interact with startups solving big problems with cutting-edge technology. Be prepared to hit the ground running and absorb everything like a sponge. This will be a challenging work environment and you will be encouraged to try new things, learn, fail, and iterate.
